May 10th Well,  I've been absent for awhile!  But I've been busy. Because of the great amount of stress my current job was causing me, keeping my blood sugars elevated, etc., then I wrecked my car, so without a car, there is no bus to get to my job, I quit my job on Monday.  I feel like a load has been lifted off my shoulders! Last Wednesday I was able to make 8001 steps!  2000 was moving my normal schedule, 6001 was from pedaling on my stationary pedals.  It counted 2 rotations for each step.  I'll take it!   Haven't done this since.  Well, it wasn't for a lack of trying.   Sunday, I accidentally stepped on my FITBIT!  ðŸ˜’  so I haven't been able to count my steps.  Before I got the fitbit, I would count each step all day long in my head!  I'm sorry, but I can't do that again.  It nearly drove me crazy! I've lost 6 pounds in the past two weeks.  That's exciting.  This morning, I tried on a pair of sw...
April 25th Early in January, I think, my sister gave me a FitbitZip.  I excitedly loaded fitbit on my phone and tried my best to get it to sync.  Finally I gave up and put it away.  I got it out and it was still blank, couldn't sync at all to the phone.  So my sister said to put a new battery in it.  I stopped at Batteries Plus and they opened it up to find there was no battery!  Blonde, I am!  Now it syncs up perfectly. I walked a total of  1572 steps.  I had gone to Walmart to walk but had to find a new door knob as my front door knob broke.  Plus, my knee and foot were hurting, so I decided not to push it tonight.  I think I"m going to do every other day focused on steps, and the alternate days riding my pedals to see if I can strengthen my knee.  I would hate for it to go out on me now! Well, that's it for today.  It's late, and I should get to bed.  Night for now!
April 24th I went to Walmart and walked up and down the aisles for 22 minutes for a total of 1400 steps!  The goal is to build up to 3000 steps at a time.   I also had 500 steps in before I went walking so probably get another 100 before bedtime and made it to 2000! I know it isn't much, but it is a start and if I can be consistent every day, I can do it!

My journey to get healthy started in late December 2015.  I had major surgery on my right shoulder, I was in a lot of pain and I was gaining weight.  I'd managed to lose 28 pounds during 2015, but it wasn't easy! What changed my life?  My girlfriend back in Kansas, Carolyn, convinced me to start taking Plexus products.  Plexus is a health and wellness company based on all plant based products.  Needless to say, I think their products are awesome! The best part of Plexus is it burns FAT not Muscle.  It is also not a weight loss program, but a wellness program for everyone.  Most everyone has blood sugar issues......and poor gut health! I have a lot of health issues.  Let me just say that Plexus   DOES NOT cure any disease or issues.  But it does help your body to get healthy naturally.  It focuses on gut health.  Gut health is so important.  Everyday, the health industry is finding out that a lot of ailments people ha...
